The Summer Program in Astrophysics is inviting applications from students, post-doctoral researchers and more senior participants for the 2025 program. Selection of the students is based on their academic standing, their current research interests and letters of recommendation. Selection of senior participants is based on duration of stay, and perceived benefits to the program in terms of ensuring a wide and balanced variety of backgrounds and skills.
Student Applications
Student applications for the 2025 Summer Program are now open, and will be due on February 1st, 2025. A participant support stipend (amount to be confirmed soon) will be provided to the students upon satisfactory completion of the program. Please visit this page to apply to the program.
Note that only graduate students should apply through this form. Also note that we sometimes invite MS students to participate in the program, but this is rare. The program is typically reserved for PhD students.
Senior Participant Applications
Faculty and postdoc applications for the 2025 Summer Program are now open, and will be considered until the end of March 2025, but please apply as early as possible if you need funding. Please visit this page to apply to the program (if you are a postdoc or a faculty). Participants are reviewed based on their potential as mentors to the students. All applicants will be notified of the status of their application after review by the SOC.
